After years of experience in the tourism industry, our family decided to open a restaurant that was truly missing from our hometown of Skala, a paradise-like village on the deep blue crystal clean waters of the Ionian Sea in Greece. Our family restaurant opened its doors in June 2010, and since then we have been serving the visitors of Skala and the island’s locals as well. We serve fresh food, from local meats, and vegetables, cooked the traditional way for the as-authentic-as-it-gets experience.
Throughout the summer season we offer special dishes on certain days.
Every Saturday and Monday: Lamb on the spit (whole lamb slow cooked on a spit rotisserie). Sometimes, due to the availability of local meats we roast baby goats instead.
Every Wednesday: Baby pig on the spit (whole baby pig slow cooked on a spit rotisserie).
Occasional specials: depending on the availability of local meats, we offer special dishes from the traditional Greek cuisine. These include Kefalonian Meat pie, Soutzoukakia, Stifado, and others.
