On the main road from Argostoli towards Saint Georges Castle pop into Kafepoleion – it has unusual but funky décor and is an excellent stop for good coffee when supermarket shopping in the area. They serve foreign and domestic beers, cakes, breakfast and snacks. At night a livelier pace is set, sometimes with live music and DJ sets.
