Peter’s Odyssey

by Anna Votsi

It is always a pleasure sharing with visitors my love for this special island!

This time though, the pleasure was even greater as it was so obvious that this very special guest has a genuine love and passion for Greece and he has a dream to share his love with as many people as possible around the world!
Peter Maneas is a passionate man and a very successful businessman living and working in Sydney. Together with Alex Begetis (producer and director – but in reality is much more than that, he is a one man crew and a great guy) they make a great team traveling around Greece since April, with Peter’s beautiful Yacht named “Mia Zoi” in order to create a 13 part series which will be broadcast throughout the world within 2018.

“Our plan is to sail to the islands that are not frequently promoted as tourist hotspots, islands that people have heard of, yet never seem to reach due to lack of information or simply because they didn’t find the time to get there”

I had the honor and great pleasure to be their host during their 5 day stay in the beautiful island of Kefalonia thanks to Fotini Pimpa, their representative in Greece and Makis Papadatos. With the help of a lot of local people that will be featured in the programme and many more that helped behind the cameras we managed to guide them in some of the best beauties of Kefalonia Island.

Peter and Alex with their project are offering a great advertising opportunity to Kefalonia Island, to be seen by millions of viewers around the world in Europe, Australia, Asia and Russia.

Thank you guys! I am sure the programme will be a great success!

Their Project has been endorsed by Dr. Kyrimis, the Consul General of Greece in Sydney. They are now working together with the Ministry of Culture and Sport in Greece, the Greek National Tourism Organisation. (GNTO), the office of the
General of the Hellenic Army and the office of the Admiral of the Hellenic Navy and the Ministry of the Press.

“Together we will produce a magnificent show which will take the viewer on a beautiful adventure through some of the most beautiful islands on the planet as seen through the eyes of a passionate Greek-Australian man who once had a dream”.
