Kefalonia by Anna suggests…

The Nautical Museum of Sami is home to twenty two hand made wooden model vessels, spanning a history of 3,500 years!

There is an impressive and creative display of traditional shipbuilding in Greece. The exhibits are made of different types of wood ranging in length from 1.20 to 3.15 metres and they are built according to shipbuilding specifications, with amazing attention to the minutest detail. The vessels have been lovingly created over the past 10 years by Sotiris Marketos who was born and raised in Sami, Kefalonia.

The Nautical Museum of Sami is located on the main Sami-Argostoli road, just three minutes by car from Sami and four from Drogarati cave.
