Less than 2km from Argostoli centre, nestled halfway to Makris Gyalos in Lassi, you will find Gradakia Beach. Before you reach the beach, there are a series of small coves filled with hidden caves and crystal-clear waters. When the sea is calm, it’s a beautiful place to explore—especially if you have a young child, as the area feels like a natural playground.

It’s also common to spot turtles and even the local monk seals that live nearby. Visitors can also swim at Gradakia Beach itself, where there are plenty of sunbeds (perhaps too many!), as well as a beach bar offering snacks and cold drinks. The view from the area is stunning and makes the whole spot worth discovering. You can also enjoy the sun diving behind Vardiani Island and Lixouri peninsula while having a drink.
There is a sign on the main road of Lassi to reach the beach, but the road at the end is a dirt road, so be careful if you have a low car. However, there is ample parking space. The beach bar offers a shower and a changing room.
